Sebina’s Story

Sebina came into the SNAFU Rescue via a breeder release. Her breeder wanted her to be placed in a loving home and spend the rest of her years being a spoiled pet.

🌟 Meet Sebina – Better Known as Beanie Babe! 🌟

Sebina, affectionately nicknamed Beanie or Beanie Babe, is a pint-sized bundle of curiosity wrapped in a squishy, snuggly package. She’s equal parts sweetheart and silly goose, with a knack for making everyday life just a little brighter.

Beanie has a slightly clumsy way about her that only adds to her charm—you’ll often catch her scurrying around with her little trot, eager to see what everyone is up to. She’s incredibly curious and takes her “house detective” duties very seriously, carefully inspecting every corner, shadow, and potential crumb. If something is happening, you can count on Beanie to be front and center, even if she doesn’t quite understand what all the fuss is about.

🍪 Snack Enthusiast Extraordinaire

Beanie is quickly discovering the joy of treats and has become quite food-motivated. She’s always on alert for the faint crinkle of a bag or the telltale sound of the fridge door opening. If she suspects you’ve got a snack, she’ll give you her best doe-eyed stare—or even a dainty little jump—to politely (and adorably) remind you she’s available for taste-testing.

🐾 Dog-Friendly, People-Focused

When it comes to other dogs, Beanie is more of a quiet joiner than a play instigator. She likes tagging along with the pack and being “one of the crew,” but she isn’t pushy about making friends. She’s currently sharing space with a bossy Frenchie foster sister and, true to her easygoing nature, Beanie respectfully backs off when told. She doesn’t pick up on every subtle canine cue, but she’s polite and adaptable, which makes her a wonderful housemate.

👧 Gentle with Kids

Beanie’s sweet and petite nature makes her a good match for respectful children. She might bounce up if she thinks a snack is in hand, but her tiny size and soft approach make her gentle and manageable. With her affectionate personality, she’d happily soak up love from dog-savvy kiddos who understand how to treat her kindly.

🛋️ Your Curious Little Shadow

Beanie isn’t one to sit on the sidelines—she wants to be near her people. Whether she’s following you from room to room, curling up for a snuggle, or wiggling under a blanket for the coziest nap spot, she’s happiest when she’s included. She’s flexible, eager to please, and has a knack for blending into the household routine while sprinkling in her own spark of joy.

Sebina (Beanie Babe) is ready to bring her curiosity, cuddles, and snack-sniffing skills to a forever family. If you’re looking for a gentle, quirky, and utterly lovable little companion, Beanie is waiting to become your shadow and your snuggle buddy for life. 💕

Sebina is still polishing up her potty training skills, but she’s making great strides! Out in the home she wears a diaper, and she’s so reliable about keeping it clean. In her crate, she’s learning with consistent potty breaks and has already left poop accidents behind—such a win for this little Beanie Babe! Pee accidents do still happen, but her foster family has seen a big improvement, and with time, patience, and a predictable routine in her forever home, she’s sure to continue heading in the right direction.

Crates aren’t exactly her favorite place, and she’ll let you know with a few minutes of protest before eventually settling down for a snooze. She’s crated during the workday (with a midday potty break) and overnight, and she also eats in her crate since she shares space with other pups. While she’d prefer to be right next to her people, she’s learning that her crate can be a safe, cozy spot too.

Sebina may not have everything mastered yet, but she’s a bright, determined little lady who’s already come a long way. With a patient family to cheer her on, she’ll keep improving—and in the meantime, she’ll shower you with all the love, cuddles, and charm that only Beanie Babe can bring.

Medically, Sebina seems to be in great health!  She has been spayed, nares widened, palate shortened, succules removed, had a dental w/ extractions, updated on vaccinations/dewormings, microchipped, heartworm tested and has been given a clean bill of health by our veterinarian! 

Sebina (affectionately known as Beanie or Beanie Babe) would thrive in a home that offers her the comfort, routine, and love she craves. A single-level house or one with just a few carpeted stairs would be ideal, as she can navigate steps but sometimes slips on slick floors. Most importantly, Beanie will need a fully fenced yard—this little lady refuses to potty on a leash or harness, so having a safe outdoor space is a must for her ongoing success.

Beanie would do best in a calmer household where her people are home often—homebodies or work-from-home families will be her dream come true! She doesn’t want to be left out of the action and would happily shadow her person all day long. Cooking? She’ll be your kitchen assistant. Working at your desk? She’s curled at your feet. Heading out to run errands or to the office? Beanie would love nothing more than to tag along. She’s a little too big to be a true “purse dog,” but don’t tell her that—she’d happily live that lifestyle if she could!

This sweet girl has recently weathered some big changes in her life, but through it all, she’s remained loving, resilient, and oh-so-snuggly. She absolutely adores snacks, welcomes affection with open paws, and has proven to be easy to care for when it comes to baths, ear cleaning, and wrinkle wiping.

At heart, Beanie is the ultimate companion dog—her happiness comes from being close to her people and feeling safe, secure, and loved. She’s silly, sweet, and sometimes a little stubborn, but always full of charm. With the right family, Beanie will blossom into the devoted, quirky, and affectionate sidekick she was always meant to be.
